Lolita Lempicka

When it comes to perfume, one of my favourite perfume brand is Lolita Lempicka. The first perfume by Lolita Lempicka was created by Annick Menardo in 1997, but sadly it has been discontinued in 2010 and later re-released as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.  In hopes of getting the original version of Lolita Lempicka, I've been diligently searching for a bottle of the older formulation, but Lolita Lempicka has indeed become quite rare and I haven't been able to get my hands on the original version. I ended up purchasing a bottle of Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum from a friendly Carousell seller, who's selling off some of her older perfume collection. I decided to snag it, just to get a whiff of the newer version, and of course to complete my Lolita Lempicka collection. Bioderma Hydrabio Essence Lotion

Dehydrated skin is a common problem faced by many people, especially for those living in a country where the weather are hot and humid all year round. To combat this problem, a suitable daily skincare regime is a must, along with a well balanced healthy diet that consist lots of fruts and vegetables...which I often skipped, lol.

Bioderma is a french pharmacy brand, a brand that embeds a unique scientific approach based on the knowledge of the skin and its biological mechanisms to formulate skincare products.

Texture wise, the Bioderma Hydrabio Essence Lotion is quite watery, slightly thicker than the usual toner. It absorbs really fast on skin, without leaving any feeling of sticky-ness, which I love because I don't really like heavy products. There's also a slight cooling sensation after applying it on.

Fragrance is listed as one of the ingredients, there's a slight floral scent from it, though it's quite mild and doesn't smell too overpowering. I usually use a cotton pad to soak up the essence lotion before placing them on my face for a few minutes. On lazy days, I just pour some of it and slapped them on my face, lol. Both works well, so it really does depends on your preferred choice of applying it on.
Performance wise, it gives me soft and supple skin. My skin leans more towards sensitive/combination skin type, where there's tendency to be some dryness around certain parts of my skin, which is mostly around the edges of my nose. I noticed there's a lack of flaky-ness on my skin, it also gives me a well hydrated skin, as if I'd just had a facial mask the night before.

I usually use this before using my serum, which is a bit more viscous. Somehow the combination seems to work well as it really prepped my skin well before my next skincare routine. I even managed to get away by skipping my day cream and using only this, prior my sunblock.

Overall it's a great product for dehydrated skin and also for those with sensitive skin that flares up easily. Bioderma Hydrabio Essence Lotion is available in 200ml and a cute travel size of 50ml. You could get this online (Hermo, Shopee) for a cheaper price. you could also get this from Watsons (Suria Sabah), there's a small aisle that features a lot of their best selling products. If you love lightweight products that keeps skin hydrated, try this!
