Lolita Lempicka

When it comes to perfume, one of my favourite perfume brand is Lolita Lempicka. The first perfume by Lolita Lempicka was created by Annick Menardo in 1997, but sadly it has been discontinued in 2010 and later re-released as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.  In hopes of getting the original version of Lolita Lempicka, I've been diligently searching for a bottle of the older formulation, but Lolita Lempicka has indeed become quite rare and I haven't been able to get my hands on the original version. I ended up purchasing a bottle of Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum from a friendly Carousell seller, who's selling off some of her older perfume collection. I decided to snag it, just to get a whiff of the newer version, and of course to complete my Lolita Lempicka collection. Jessica Simpson Fancy Love

Jessica Simpson Fancy Love has been my signature scent for over 10 years, and it's been my favourite ever since I first got a sniff of it out of a magazine strip scent. It's my most complimented scent, beating out my other perfumes by brands that are thought to be much more classier and sophisticated, lol. I've since learnt that body chemistry plays a huge role in determining the perfect scent for you, and that is why it's good to try out a few different categories of perfumes. As for me, floriental scents suits me better than sweet, fruity, juicy scent. Whenever I wear something sweet in the morning, my skin will amplify the sweetness, making me a giant, walking candy cane by midday 😂

As much as I love the scents of Britney's fantasy and Lancome La Vie Est Belle, they just smell too overwhelming on my skin. Fresh, aquatic  scents are another big no for me, as they smell kinda harsh on my skin, which is why I ended up giving away my Anna Sui Fantasia Mermaid to my mom as it ended up smelling sharp and soapy on my skin 😗

A few years ago, I'd made a review on Jessica Simpson Fancy Love eau de parfum. Back then, I never got the chance to try the body mist version as it wasn't available anywhere here. Well I guess I'm lucky to have stumbled upon this gem now after waiting for so long.

Upon spraying it, you'll get the same peaches and cream scent as the eau de parfum. The only difference is it doesn't have the same boozy opening note of champaigne. It's a much more softer scent than the edp, and you can get away spraying tons of it on your clothes, which I thinks hold the scent much better than on skin.

Jessica Simpson Fancy Love, Burberry Classic for Woman and Taylor by Taylor Swift smells almost identical. If you're a fan of either one of them, I would highly suggest you try all three of them, lol. However if you have to pick one, I'll suggest Fancy Love if you love softer, feminine scent, Burberry if you love a hint of woody scent and Taylor if you love juicy scent. Overall all 3 of them have an almost the same  peaches and cream drydown even though they have different opening notes.
