Lolita Lempicka

When it comes to perfume, one of my favourite perfume brand is Lolita Lempicka. The first perfume by Lolita Lempicka was created by Annick Menardo in 1997, but sadly it has been discontinued in 2010 and later re-released as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.  In hopes of getting the original version of Lolita Lempicka, I've been diligently searching for a bottle of the older formulation, but Lolita Lempicka has indeed become quite rare and I haven't been able to get my hands on the original version. I ended up purchasing a bottle of Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum from a friendly Carousell seller, who's selling off some of her older perfume collection. I decided to snag it, just to get a whiff of the newer version, and of course to complete my Lolita Lempicka collection. MIXSOON Bean Essence Serum

This is my 1st time trying out skincare product with fermented soybean in it and I have high hopes for it since my last experience with Mixsoon has been a great one with the UNA Master Soft Toner, which is my fave milky type toner at the moment 🥰 Thanks to Picky x Mixsoon Mega giveaway, I was luckily picked to be one of the reviewer for Mixsoon Bean Essence Serum.

𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕 :

Multi-tasking essence /exfoliator/serum that helps to bring dull skin back to life.

𝑲𝒆𝒚 𝑰𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 :

  • Fermented Bean Extract
  • Fermented Barley Extract
  • Fermented Pomegranate Extract
  • Fermented Pear Juice

𝑺𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕 :

Fragrance-free

𝑻𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 :

Gooey, mucin-like texture

𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 :

50ml plastic pump bottle

𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 :

The texture reminds me of Natto, gooey and stringy, thankfully it doesn't have the same scent 😆 The texture feels lightweight on skin and doesn't feel greasy at all. It also feels very much like a snail mucin product, which I love! It gives adequate hydration to my skin and I've noticed much smoother skin the next day after using it.

The only downside is it takes a while to get fully absorbed into skin, giving skin a slightly wet look. I also have harder times layering it with other skincare products. I haven't noticed much leftover residue when massaging it into my skin, however it does help in improving my skin texture, thanks to its mild exfoliating effect.
